Our lesson program uses a group of experienced horses for beginners through accomplished riders in English or Western Tack. Lessons cover cleaning and tacking/untacking the horse as well as actually riding. Our instructor Brian will tailor lessons for the age and experience of the student. We accept riders of all ages from four through adult.
Riding Lessons are given Tuesday through Sunday. With two indoor arenas, lessons can go on regardless of the weather. Lesson times will be scheduled on a first come, first served basis.
1 hour lessons $45.00 or 6/$240.00
Includes cleaning and tacking up the horse, becoming familiar with equipment and horse handling. About 1/2 hour saddle time
Though we do have boots and helmets available for loan, it is recommended to wear proper clothing for lessons. These include long pants, boots with a low heel, and a riding helmet (a bicycle helmet will do in a pinch). Gloves are also recommended especially during the winter months.
