Welcome to the Smoke Hollow Farm web site where you can find information about the American Saddlebred and Smoke Hollow Farm. "Your Trip to the Winner's Circle Starts Here" ™ Quick Links...Tack Room at Smoke Hollow (eBay) About Smoke Hollow...Smoke Hollow Farm is located in scenic Hunterdon County in west-central New Jersey; an hour or less from New York City and Philadelphia. The farm property has a long history as an equestrian center, but most recently opened in August 1995 to be a first class facility for training and showing of American Saddlebred horses. The farm also conducts an active lesson program to introduce newcomers to this "Breed That America Made". The American Saddlebred enjoys a proud history, from the Civil War battlefields to the bright lights of Madison Square Garden. Today the breed is primarily developed to perform in the show ring, but it is also found competing in almost every equine activity: from dressage, show jumping, and cross country jumping, to driving, cutting and reining, and trail riding. Stephanie Tamm heads up the lesson program using a group of experienced horses for beginners through accomplished riders. Our staff of professional caretakers, headed up by Pete Holiday, keep the horses in prime condition and turned out to look their best.
